Project context.

The brief

macOS keeps exactly one thing on the clipboard. Copy something else and the previous item is gone, which quietly costs people work every day.

The response

I designed and built Pastely, a native macOS app that keeps a searchable history of everything you copy. Text, links, images, files, colors and code each get their own card, tagged with when it was copied and which app it came from.

The outcome

Pastely is free and open source, ships in two visual styles across all four screen edges, and keeps every item on the user's own machine — nothing is uploaded, profiled or used for training.
